The Lindfield Learning Village Vision and Values of 2022 have been made into cards and are being used as a support tool to classes, and PL for staff and students across the school, staff were excited to create a list of possible ways to use them, and we are sure that list will grow.
Students contributed artworks for the cards and these have been beautifully edited into wonderfully tactile packs are being distributed to staff and students. Each card explains the value along with a story where the value is applied.
The process involved in the creation of the VV package required multiple collaborators and iterations to arrive at the final printed product.
We approached students to develop the visuals for the cards. Each student was briefed on a value and then viewed a mood board images. Each student interpreted their value and expressed this visually. They were all created with different materials- coloured pencils, watercolour, painting and digital illustration. Once the assets and the content were finalised, Jessica Peade developed a graphic layout.
This morning each staff member recieved their pack of cards, and we would love for these to be used by students and families as we embed these Visions and Values into our daily routines and practices.
