Our teachers and staff
Our teachers and staff are invested in the wellbeing and success of our students. We see each student as an individual with their own skillsets, talents and identity and our approach is designed to create learners who possess the dispositions required for success in their life within and beyond school.

Teaching and Learning
At Lindfield Learning Village we are developing the next generation of learners through effective teaching strategies that cater to how students learn best. We utilise the DoE's Explicit Teaching model to develop independent learners who are equipped to thrive in their community. We aim to prepare them for all aspects of their life, understanding how to be both self-sufficient and collaborative members of the community.
Our learning approach
Through a structured program of gradual release of task responsibility, students are guided through traditional content and taught the skills needed to understand, consolidate and apply new knowledge to their own independent or collaborative learning. We are among many other NSW Public Schools who have adopted this learning model where we want to equip each child with the skills needed to be self-sufficient.
Our approach includes:
- real-world learning through hands-on activities, group work and exploring ideas
- using technology to support learning, personalise lessons and build digital skills
- giving students the right support with flexible teaching and a focus on wellbeing
- connecting with the community through excursions and local programs.
Our leadership team
Our school leadership team works hard to create a safe, supportive and inspiring place to learn. They guide our teachers and students, making sure everyone has the tools to succeed.
