Principal's Message
Welcome to Lindfield Learning Village, where it is my honour and privilege to serve as Principal in this wonderfully vibrant, multi-cultural community.
Lindfield Learning Village (LLV) is a proudly public, comprehensive K-12 school, committed to servicing the educational needs of our local community. LLV delivers Explicit Teaching that is embedded within the school’s educational approach, with students supported to become independent, lifelong learners. Our school provides a uniquely stable environment, with our K-12 model ensuring a depth of understanding of each child’s learning needs, over the entire 13 years of their education.
Despite our relatively short history, Lindfield Learning Village is already achieving strong academic achievements, including being named as a Top 10 Public Comprehensive School for the 2024 HSC, a year in which we had 27.5% of students seeking an ATAR achieve over 90 and 50% of students seeking an ATAR achieve over 80. We offer a world-class educational environment where student learning is supported by state-of-the-art facilities, including multiple, full-scale theatres for students interested in the performing arts. Our signature Beyond program allows students to extend their interests and connect their learning to real world applications, while our Neighbourhood program, where our learners interact with other year levels, celebrates and promotes students being a part of their wider community.
With a highly dedicated team of staff committed to ensuring socio-emotional wellbeing, a well-rounded offering of subjects, and a wide range of extra-curricular and sporting opportunities, including dance, music, chess, debating, squash, maths club, gardening club, plus a myriad of team sport opportunities, LLV ensures that all student needs are catered for. Strong community links, including with our P&C - Friends of the Village - ensures that all stakeholders are active participants within the life of our school. The intersection of our high impact teaching, with opportunities for students to explore their interests, supports our commitment to academic excellence and is reflected in the strength of our external metrics.
LLV also has a wide range of specialist staff to support all learning and wellbeing needs, including a Student Support Officer, Psychologists and Counsellors, Learning & Support Teachers, and a High Potential & Gifted Education team. Our attention to individualised learning plans ensure all students can grow with confidence, resilience and are prepared for the future.
I look forward to welcoming all prospective students and their families to our supportive and engaged LLV community, where every student is known and belongs.
