The essence of mathematics lies in its freedom and Katherine has embraced it

Lindfield Learning Villager Katherine Lowbeer loves Maths, in Year 7, she was introduced to an online Maths programme and by the end of the year had finished the curriculum for 7, 8 , 9  and 10.  This year  while she is in year 9,  Katherine has been studying for her Maths Extenson 2 HSC exam, and aged 14 is one of the  youngest candidate sitting this exam. 

Michelle Lowbeer, Katherine's mother said "I have so much appreciation for Stephane McConnell and Lindfield Learning Village for having the vision and courage to accelerate students according to their individual learning capability.  It's due to their philosophy and practice that Katherine has been able to sit the HSC maths extension 2 exam this year whilst in year 9."

We wish all our Villagers sitting HSC exams, smooth sailing and total recall, we cant wait to see what the next steps in their journey are!
