Lindfield Learning Village is a highly innovative new K - 12 school which opened in Term 1, 2019 and has a projected final enrolment of 2100 students. We are a flagship school for NSW Public Education, implementing a new educational model which includes stage-not-age progression and student-directed, transdisciplinary learning. Human centred design helps us meet every student’s needs.
About the role

Working in a highly collaborative co-teaching environment and engaging in researching your own practice, you will be supported to develop your thinking and designing in a highly sought after state of the art physical environment.
Working in a highly collaborative, transdisciplinary team, teachers will:
Ensure teaching draws on all aspects of the Australian Professional Teaching Standards in order to deliver engaging learning experiences that meet the requirements of the students they teach.
Prepare PLASPS in consultation with the Wellbeing Team, families and carers, and integrate these into classroom practice to maximise learning outcomes for all students.
Ensure that the wellbeing needs of students in your care are prioritised.
Implement whole school priorities, technologies and processes to support exemplary learning opportunities.
Undertake appropriate ongoing professional development.
Role criteria
Approval to teach K-6, with demonstrated excellence in classroom teaching which reflects a thorough understanding of the NSW curriculum.
Outstanding and creative classroom practitioner with a passion for collaboratively developing, implementing and evaluating innovative pedagogical practice.
Highly reflective, energetic and agile with the ability to deal with the ambiguity of a rapidly changing learning landscape.
Demonstrated emotional intelligence and high level interpersonal skills with the ability to manage relational challenges in a co-teaching, transdisciplinary context.
Highly resilient, invites and responds to constructive feedback to ensure continued growth and alignment to the LLV vision, values and code of collaboration.
